Institutional Strengthening of Forest Land-Use Plan in General Nakar, Quezon

Duration: January 2012 to June 2013

A project funded by the World Bank to organize and strengthen the institutions for effective FLUP implementation in General Nakar. It included series of capacity building training for Barangay ENR Law Enforcement Teams; formulation of forest protection plans; facilitation of meetings for the FLUP Steering Committee; assistance in reviewing and creating environmental ordinances; and further assistance on forest protection strengthening.
